BASE VAN CONVERSIONS

As well as full camper conversions, we offer base van conversions that transform basic vans into a liveable space which can be turned into a full conversion at a later date. When it comes to base van conversions, we offer a range of services including insulation, ply lining, carpet lining, electric installation, window fitting, Skyline pop-top installation and sound deadening. A base van can be as simple or complex as you wish; we can tailor your conversion based on your requirements.

BASE CONVERSION STANDARD - POA

The Base Conversion Standard package is the perfect base conversion for those of you who are keen DIYers. This gives you the basics you need to then convert the van yourself. This package includes:

Ply panels all around
Insulation of roof, sides and doors
Full carpet line
Sliding window
Fixed window
12V leisure battery system including a smart charging system, suitable for newer vehicles
LED spot lights on a standard switch x 6
12mm ply floor
Floor covering (many choices available)
Sockets - x2 12v, x 2 USB and a voltmeter
Deeper genuine Volkswagen side step and rear threshold
Ply one-piece headlining

BASE CONVERSION SUPREME - POA

The Base Conversion Supreme package the perfect base conversion for those of you who are keen to get started but would like to convert your van in stages. This gives you the basics you need to then convert your van fully at a later date. This package includes:

Ply panels all around
Insulation of roof, sides and doors
Full carpet line
Sliding window
Fixed window
12V leisure battery system including a smart charging system, suitable for newer vehicles
240V electrical hookup system including under bonnet hookup
LED spot lights on a standard switch x 6
12mm ply floor
Floor covering (many choices available)
Sockets - x2 12v, x 2 USB, 1 3 pin socket and a voltmeter
Deeper genuine Volkswagen side step and rear threshold
Ply one-piece headlining
Double swivel base

RECENT BASE CONVERSIONS

Ms H's Conversion

This van came to us as a basic panel van and we transformed it by adding a Skyline pop-top roof, fully insulating and carpet lining the inside, adding flooring, installing electrics and fitting new windows ready for the van to eventually be turned into a full camper conversion.

Mr S's Conversion

This van started as a basic panel van. We converted it by insulating and carpet lining the sides and roof, installing electrics including spotlights and an audio system and fitting new windows for the van to eventually be transformed into a complete camper conversion.

Mr L's Conversion

This T6.1 came to us as a brand new, basic panel van and we completely transformed it by insulating, sound deadening and carpet lining the interior, fitting rubber flooring, installing electrics, spotlights and a fixed side window, flush aftermarket sliding window and tailgate window, all in privacy glass. We also added Vanshades to the van at a later date.

Mr C's Conversion

This T5.1 came to us as a standard panel van with the aim of eventually converting it into a full camper. Our team renovated the van by fitting two fixed windows and barn door windows all in privacy glass as well as insulating and carpet lining the interior and installing new flooring. The van then came back to us for a full camper electric installation including a 12v, 240v hookup and spotlights.

Mr D's Conversion

This van arrived with us as a bare panel van. Our team have converted it into a base van by ply lining, insulating, carpet lining, fitting flooring and installing 12v system and 240v hookup with spotlights.

Mr P's Conversion

This van started as a basic panel van. We converted it by insulating and carpet lining the sides and roof and installing an audio system.

Mr M's Conversion

This van started as a basic panel van. We converted it by insulating and carpet lining the sides and roof. We also installed electrics including spotlights and an audio system.

Mrs B's Conversion

This van started as a basic panel van. We converted it by insulating and carpet lining the sides and roof. We also installed electrics including spotlights and an audio system, as well as fitting new windows.
