Most vans that come to us are in for carpet lines, ply lines, insulation and sound deaddening. For many people, insulating and carpeting their van is one of the first steps in their conversion process. We offer premium lining services with Anthracite easy liner carpet as standard, other shades are available as options. We only use high quality products!
Carpet Lining, Ply Lining and Insulation
We have been carpeting vans for over 7 years! Leon has had previous experience of carpet lining due to his 16 years of being a floor layer. We do not do anything by half. We dedicate over 10 hours to carpet line a van - this is due to the fact that we work the carpet into the bends. We ply the van before hand and then use one piece per side of the van - with the exception of a few add ons around the door trim (sliding door). We do it this way so that the very few joins are not visible and the ply leaves a sleek, one level look. We insulate many vans and have used recycled plastic for a while! Due to the fact that we use marine ply and a thick insulation, it's highly unlikely that moisture will ever come into the van and leave the lining damp.
Sound Deaddening
Many people who have audio fitted into their vans decide to sound deaden to prevent movement of panels and road noise whilst driving. Sound deadening takes out nearly 100 decibels of sound during travelling which prevents any background noise coming into the van. We use high quality sound deadening called Dynamat - it comes as heavy duty thin self-adhesive sheets which are pressed onto the inside of the panels in the van. Dynamat will help to improve the sound quality of your stereo and audio system and reduce background noise.
Electrical
Many people opt to have electrical parts in their van - we fit leisure batteries, split charge system and 12V/USB sockets into nearly every van we have in. Having a leisure battery to connect sockets and LEDs up to stops you having to worry about running your van battery too low. Leisure batteries can also be used to run drop down TV screens, audio and many other electrical parts. Fit some USB sockets in the rear of your van and you won't have to worry about the children making a fuss when their device dies!
As well as every day electrical parts, we also fit consumer units and electrical hook ups (usually on campers).
Audio is also a very popular thing to upgrade. We all know that the standard speakers aren't always the best. We offer upgrades to front door speakers and installation of rear speakers. As well as speaker upgrades, we offer upgraded head units - genuine and aftermarket.
