MR & MRS D'S CONVERSION
Mr D had his van delivered to us from VW Bristol in March 2018. It was a brand new van with 15 miles.
In this 4-berth conversion we used a RIB 112 cm bed, in VW T6 Simora upholstery to match the front seats. This bed was fitted with a certified fitting kit for the RIB beds.
RIB beds are very reputable beds in the VW camper scene, made in France to a very good standard.
Mr D bought these units himself whilst waiting for his van to arrive. We built them in house and installed them for him. We absolutely love this colour combination. It makes the overall finish very clean and spacious.
Mr D chose a gloss white and gloss black combination with black trim, over head led light shelf and over bed locker.
GAS + WATER
Mr S's conversion was built with practicality in mind. We installed a rear barbecue point and refillable gas system from Gaslow. This means that Mr D can refill his gas canister at a local fuel station. This makes for a very easy system. A standard water system was also installed with a water bottle hidden in the units for the sink tap.
THE POP TOP
This conversion began with a Hilo sport pop top. Mr D chose to add a scenic canvas and gel coat black roof to his build, along with polished hinges! A very sleek pop top keeping the original look of the van.
The Hilo sport provided the required space for Mr & Mrs D to stand up in their lovely new camper van, during weekends away. The Hilo has more space in the roof area than any other roof.
MR & MRS D'S REVIEW
"I have just picked my van up after Leon, Chloe and Chris have spent weeks converting it into a camper. It's the first time I have seen my van as it was delivered to Apple County Customs by Volkswagen. I couldn't be happier with the conversion. They really are so good at what they do! Their attention to detail is brilliant and my van is just how I wanted! Chloe's advice along the way was great and the communication was brilliant at all stages of the conversion.
Thank you all for the work you have completed on my T6. I would highly recommend Apple County Customs to other people."
